During inclement weathers we follow the procedures below. Due to routes sometimes going out of district and picking up students in multiple towns please review the below policy carefully.

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES

DISTRICT DELAYED OPENINGS:
If one district on the route is on a delayed opening, the ENTIRE route is to run on the longest
delay, even if the attending school is on a regular schedule.

DISTRICT CLOSINGS:
If one district on a jointure route is closed, the bus is NOT to pick up students in that district
even if their school is opened. The students in the open districts shall only be transported.

RECEIVING SCHOOL DELAYED OPENINGS:
If the receiving school is on a delayed opening, the ENTIRE route is to run on a delay, even if
the districts are on a regular schedule. There will be no one at the school to receive students at
the regular time schedule.

RECEIVING SCHOOL CLOSING:
If the receiving school is closed, the route does NOT run, even if the district is open. There will
be no one at the school to accept students.

Drivers know which districts are on their routes and are also
responsible for checking district websites, watching television news, listening to radio
and/or checking the following websites for delay or closing announcements:
